$Glory to God, this settlement was a miracle 🙏🏻✨ I recently obtained a $35,000 settlement for a client who struck the face on a glass partition inside of a business. The client received full compensation for the injuries sustained which involved a nasal bone fracture, with no surgery, and headaches. There were minimal visits to the doctor. The defense claimed that the condition was “open and obvious” as the post-accident photo showed a paper sign on the glass. We argued that the sign was placed after the accident, thus creating an issue of fact. From the beginning, I cited to the building code violations showing that the glass door/partition was not marked per code as it should have been. The case settled fast and before any depositions were held.
